LCpl Darwin Judge Park

LCpl Darwin USMC Judge Park is located in Marshalltown, Iowa.  Below are some dedication pictures of a new flagpole and flags.

  New Flag Pole Dedication in LCpl Darwin Judge USMC Park in Marshalltown, Iowa.  The Fall of Saigon Marines Association during our 25th Reunion paid for the flagpole and flags.  The city of Marshalltown is paying for the lighting.   Marshalltown Boy Scouts of America helped lower and raise the flag morning and night until electricity was provided.  LCpl Judge was an Eagle Scout as well as his friend Ken Locke who is our only honorary Fall of Saigon Marine.   Thanks goes to 24th Marines who assisted in honoring a fallen hero and one of the last Marine to die in the Vietnam War.  A plaque lays at the base of the flag pole which was donated by the city of Marshalltown, Iowa.  Two trees were planted in the background  representing LCpl Darwin Judge and Cpl Charles McMahan the last two servicemen who died in the Vietnam War.
